ROLF Spectacles, a pioneer in wooden eyewear, introduces the Camaro, an innovative model that takes wooden eyewear to new heights. Inspired by the pristine beauty of the Tyrolean Alps, the Camaro is a testament to the brand's commitment to unique design and sustainable practices.

The Camaro, part of ROLF Spectacles' advanced collection, stands out with its natural texture and high-end three-dimensional design. The brand's research and development team has created an innovative hinge for its eyewear made of wood and a specialized lens-glazing system. Remarkably, the eyewear is produced without any metal parts or screws, making it a true embodiment of sustainable design.

Each frame is meticulously handcrafted at the ROLF plant in Tyrol, Austria. The production process is unique, with most machinery specifically built or retrofitted for the purpose. The brand's commitment to innovation is evident in its use of unconventional materials and techniques. For instance, the first pieces of wood were pressed from a living room table with a mechanical milker from a retired farmer, a technique still in use today.

ROLF Spectacles' journey began in 2007, with the team carving eyewear frames in their basement. Despite initial challenges, the brand persevered, investing in new machinery and optimizing production processes. By 2009, they had developed their first perfect set of glasses, which won the prestigious Silmo d‘Or award.

The Camaro's unique properties extend beyond its design. It is light, comfortable, and features a patented glazing system and wooden hinge. The frame is also anti-static and anti-allergenic, demonstrating ROLF Spectacles' commitment to user comfort and safety. The brand's dedication to sustainability is further highlighted by its use of natural materials, including wood and shale stone.
